BVC Fraud Policy (Do not respond)

Dear Faculty,

As you are probably aware, the College has circulated a Human Resource Action email, dated Friday June 23, 2017. This is the BVC Fraud Policy #200-1-4 and the college has asked it to be signed and returned by June 30, 2017. While we fully support the first four points of this policy we have issue and concerns with point five. “subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal and that I may be subject to litigation depending n the severity of the infraction.

This point circumvents the collective agreement in regards to “just cause” and therefore we have asked the college to remove this language out of the policy. Therefore, we ask that you do not sign this document as it currently stands.

We will continue to keep you updating based on our discussions with Human Resources.
